This page explains what personal data we collect through smartoneca.es, what we use it for and what rights you have. It also explains which cookies this website uses.

2. What data we collect
- Data you provide in our forms (contact, appointment and quote request): first and last name, company, email address, phone number, city, your message and any technical details about the equipment or process you share with us.
- Browsing data, only if you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate country or city, and the website you came from.
- Technical security data needed to protect our forms against spam (Google reCAPTCHA).
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. If you contact us on behalf of a company, please make sure you are allowed to share the contact details you provide.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

We do not use your data to send you advertising without your permission, and we do not sell it to third parties.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep inquiry and quote data for as long as the business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by law. If no business relationship is established, we delete it no later than 2 years after our last contact. Google Analytics statistics are kept for a maximum of 14 months.
5. Who else has access to the data (service providers)
To provide our services we work with providers that process data on our behalf and under contract:
- Hostinger: website hosting.
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365): the email service where we receive form submissions.
- Google: Google Analytics (statistics, only with your consent), Google reCAPTCHA (spam protection) and Google Fonts (website fonts).
Group company: when your request relates to projects, products or services in Venezuela, it may be handled by SMARTONE, C.A. (RIF J-411145360), a company of the same group, which will process your data for the same purposes described in this policy.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In those cases, transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. We may also share your request with the equipment manufacturer (for example, Yokogawa) when this is necessary to prepare the quote or check compatibility; in that case, we will only share the data that is strictly necessary.
6. Your rights
You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to or restrict its processing, request data portability and withdraw your consent at any time. Email us at info@smartoneca.com stating which right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the data protection authority in your country.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Technical cookies are necessary for the website to work. Analytics cookies are only enabled if you click “Accept” in the cookie notice. If you click “Decline”, they are not set.

How to change your choice: you can delete cookies in your browser settings. The next time you visit the website, the notice will appear again and you can choose again.
